THE HANDPOKED ‘SKIN STORY’ TATTOO PROCESS:

It’s always an honour to be trusted to ink stories into skin in this way. I understand that tattoos are a big decision, and want to make the process as clear and as comfortable and joyous for you as possible, starting from the very beginning, so here’s a little more info…

The Booking Process:

Please fill in the booking form with your request, with as much information as possible. Questions are welcome before booking! Sometimes organizing dates and fitting everyone in takes time, but I will email you back with a potential date as soon as I can. If you havnt heard from me after some time, feel free to reach out on IG or message just to check.

The deposit is £150. Once a deposit is received you are booked in! But there is no confirmation until a deposit is received.

I charge by piece, with each tattoo priced individually depending on size, placement, and level of detail. If you’ve worked with me before, this is similar to last year, but by piece instead of hourly. A rough guide:

• Minimum session (anything up to 2 hours): £360

• Most custom pieces: £600–£900

• Medium–large pieces: £800–£1200

• Larger / ongoing work: £1200+

After you share your idea/ ‘skin story’ wishes, i will then share a final quote with you after reviewing your idea. You will receive this alongside the deposit info, in my reply email, and some extra info about pre-tattoo guidelines too, and information for the day of.

The Design:

With ‘Skin Story’ designs, I like to make these as symbolic and personal as possible for you- the more you share, the more it helps! Please know that anything shared is always confidential and the story never shared on social media. These are unique, and never replicated.

I will share the design with you before we meet. I do like to sit with your shared story and work on it in my own time and space and energy, but sometimes designs need to be finalised when we are together in person. Please be open to designs changing slightly on the day, if we both decide that it need to/ works better. I like designs to fit and flow with the body as best as possible, so sometimes this involved dancing around freckles, or adding something extra to sit alongside a muscle line..

I will share the design with you a few days before we meet. If you wish for any changes, I am happy to make a maximum of 2 edits before we meet- and email these to you, but if it needs more than 2 edits, then we will edit the design together when we meet in person on the day, as communication is often more fluid that way.

If there is anything you would like to bring for the altar, or any special requests for the ceremonial side of our tattoo, please do ask. This is a cocreation- and each tattoo experience is unique, and I really want to make the memory of it as special as possible for you. Same goes for song requests, or anything else you wish to be included to honour this time in your life.
